The journey of Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society (MATES) is rooted in a simple yet powerful belief—institutions are not built for society, but by society, for society. What began over two decades ago as a vision to strengthen technical and professional education in Delhi has today evolved into a multi-institutional educational ecosystem committed to nation-building.
At a time when opportunities for quality technical education were limited, especially in the field of engineering and management, MATES was established with the objective of making education accessible, relevant, and future-oriented. With the support of dedicated educators, administrators, and well-wishers, the Society steadily expanded its footprint—creating institutions that emphasize not only academic excellence, but also values, discipline, and social responsibility.
Over the years, our institutes have adapted to changing educational needs, embraced innovation, and aligned themselves with emerging industry and societal demands. From infrastructure development to curriculum enhancement, from faculty empowerment to student-centric learning, every step has been taken with long-term impact in mind rather than short-term gains.
Education, in my view, is meaningful only when it enables individuals to become capable professionals, responsible citizens, and compassionate human beings. At MATES, our endeavour has always been to nurture holistic growth—where knowledge, character, and commitment grow together.
As we reflect on our journey through Agrani Samkalp, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have contributed to the growth of MATES—faculty members, staff, students, parents, alumni, and associates. I am confident that with collective effort, ethical leadership, and unwavering dedication, MATES will continue to scale new heights and contribute meaningfully to the progress of our nation.
True education transforms not just careers, but lives.
