Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society (MATES) was established in 1998 as a charitable educational trust with the belief that education is the foundation of a progressive society. Conceived by a collective of eminent educationists, industrialists, professionals, and philanthropists, the Society was formed to deliver quality education anchored in values, relevance, and long-term impact.
From the outset, MATES has believed that education must go beyond instruction. It must cultivate character, competence, and social responsibility. The Society’s institutions are designed to encourage critical thinking, ethical leadership, and professional readiness.
With a strong institutional foundation, MATES has steadily expanded across Technology, Management, Law, Pharmacy, and Health Services. Each academic vertical reflects the Society’s commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and future relevance.
MATES continues to evolve with one constant purpose — to serve society through education that empowers individuals and contributes meaningfully to nation-building.

Established in 2003 and is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The Institute offers BBA, B.Com (Hons.), BA Eco (Hons.), BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCA and BJMC programmes
Inaugurated by Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, on 25 May 2013. The University offers courses in various disciplines ranging from Engineering, Management, Applied Science, Architecture, Pharmacy and Law to the newly incorporated short term diploma courses.
Established in 2023 as an autonomous postgraduate business school offering a PGDM program, building on the legacy of the Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society (MATES)
